The Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition has sold all eighty initial units. Lincoln decided on the eighty units to celebrate the “80th Anniversary” of the automaker. The vehicle was only announced last year, but already discussing a second production run. There are no official numbers on how many will be available. The suicide doors and stretched six inches really created some excitement.
Lincoln did not release official sales pricing, but said it was higher than $110,000. The Coach Door Edition adds about $40,000 onto the fully-loaded Black Label price tag of $70,000. In February, Lincoln plans to announce the lucky clients who successfully get one of the first production units. Shipments will start this summer.
