The 2020 Honda Odyssey gets a few upgrades for its 25th Anniversary. Honda is now even offering the 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. This 25th Anniversary model will be celebrating the heritage of the Honda minivan. The Honda Odyssey name has been used since 1995 with the introduction of the non-sliding-door option.
The Japanese automaker is celebrating by offering a 25th Anniversary Accessory Package for 2020. The Accessory Package will be available on every trim level of the Odyssey. Some of the appearance upgrades include 25th Anniversary badging on the tailgate, front fenders, illuminated sill plates and on the key fob. Honda also added chrome to the roof rack, lower door garnish and rear bumper protector. If you are seriously invested in celebrating the Odyssey, there is an Anniversary 19-inch wheel option. The Accessory Package costs $1,500 without the wheels, or $2,800 with the 19-inch wheels.
Beyond the aesthetics, the 2020 Honda Odyssey will come with the 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. Previously, that transmission wasn’t a standard feature until the Touring or Elite trims. Another standard option includes every model features Honda’s start-stop system paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission.
With the upgrades there will be a slight increase in pricing on the 2020 Honda Odyssey. A base LX starts at $31,785 and continues to increase to the Elite trim with the Anniversary package and wheels priced at $51,215. The 2020 Honda Odyssey should be hitting dealerships any time.
