The Porsche Cayenne S Coupe gets a fourth engine option. This 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 has 434 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque fitting between the base model and Turbo. The base model uses the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, and the Turbo has the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 541-hp and 567 lb-ft of torque. There are plenty of performance options for the Porsche enthusiast.
The S Coupe comes standard with the Sport Chrono package, helping it hit 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. If you elect to get the optional Lightweight Sport package, it is made to shave a tenth of a second off that number. Compared with the regular Cayenne S, the coupe gets some additional features including 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and eight-way adaptive sport seats. Like the other coupe models, a two-place rear-seat is standard, but the three-seat bench is an available option. The three different Lightweight Sport package options available offer various exterior and interior design elements including houndstooth interior, lightweight 22-inch wheels and a carbon-fiber roof.
The new model is available to order now, and will arrive at dealerships later this fall. The price starts at $89,850, including the delivery fee. Expect two more Cayenne coupe variants from Porsche to be revealed later this year, possibly including a plug-in E-Hybrid version. The coupe is to account for around thirty percent of the global Cayenne volume.
