To celebrate 50 years, Nissan is bringing special models of the Z and GT-R to the New York International Car Show. At the show, Nissan is going to have several new and classic models on display. The pictures released are the first sneak peaks of what’s coming to the NY Show. The Japanese automaker wants to celebrate 50 years of performance with the special versions creating a “Dream Garage.” Nissan wants to highlight previous generations of both lines.
The cars in the photos include two R34 Skyline GT-RS, R35 FT-R’s, a Datsun 240Z, a new 370Z, a 1973 Skyline GT-R and a third R35 GT-R. Both type of models debuted in 1969, fifty years ago. One modern GT-R model will have a bright blue Calsonic livery, which hopefully will be an available option buyers. Also, there will be a million-dollar Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign coach-built special.
Nissan is secretive about what will replace both models in the future lineup. Like all automakers, they are looking to add an electrified model into the lineup. Hopefully, next month there is more information available at the NY International Auto Show.
