This week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Lexus LC Convertible Concept will make an appearance. This halo car is likely heading to production. The coupe is stunning inside and out. Tadao Mori, chief designer of the LC Convertible concept, in a press release stated, “this concept takes the unmistakable design of the LC coupe and reimagines it as a future convertible.” He adds, “A production version of this concept would be exhilarating in many different ways.” The LC Convertible is only a variation of the LC Coupe with its elegant white leather and contrasting yellow stitching, dark-colored trim sitting low to the ground on 22-inch wheels.

Lexus hasn’t released any other information regarding the engine or transmission. The LC Coupe is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic, giving it 471 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Speculation would offer both gasoline-fueled and hybridized powertrains similar to the coupe. Check back for more details, as information is released from Detroit Auto Show.
