Jeep brought out a Mopar built Wrangler to the 2019 SEMA Show. On this build, Mopar introduced both the new tube door skins and side mirrors on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This is one of the tame Mopar creations at the 2019 SEMA show, but it’s a great option for Wrangler owners who want a little more coverage on their tube doors.
The concept door skins are made from a breathable mesh water-resistant fabric that stretches over the Mopar accessory door rails, as well as the roof. The doors have a convenient zipper function that allows the door skins to be removed and added easily. The door skins are easy to store due to their composition and weight. Mopar officials state the skins are meant to protect passengers from various debris, like kick up from the tires, both on and off the road without minimizing the open air feel.
The concept door mirrors attach to the accessory rails via a tube opening giving rearward availability after removing the doors. Most states require side view mirrors while driving and this is a perfect solution. This part will most likely be available for the Jeep Gladiator too.
The concept parts are just the beginning for this Mopar Wrangler. It features a one-piece stamped steel front bumper with integrated fog lamps, tow hooks on the top and “D-ring” attachments at the bottom, a Fox shock two-inch lift kit, Mopar cold air intake and snorkel, beadlock capable wheels, 35-inch tires, rock rails, off-road lights and the Mopar Warn winch kit. Additional features include the tube doors, Katzkin leather upholstery, rubber floor mats, and tailgate table. All these parts, except the concept ones, are available to purchase.
This Mopar Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is one of fourteen vehicles that FCA brought to the 2019 SEMA Show. The Jeep Wrangler has taken SEMA’s 4×4/SUV of the year award for the last nine years.
