Hennessey Maximus gives the Jeep Gladiator 1,000 horsepower. They dropped in an upgraded Hellcat engine into a 2020 Gladiator most certainly creating the ultimate beast. The Gladiator hasn’t even been on sale more than a month, and it already is getting a massive makeover. Several different companies are jumping on the opportunity to add a V8 or bigger. With this project, Hennessey created the Maximus 1000 with the Gladiator.

The Hennessey Maximus 1000 project not only has a supercharged 6.2L Hellcat V8 engine with 933 lb-ft of torque, but also adds an upgraded fuel system and custom stainless steel exhaust. The project has an improved radiator to keep the engine cool. The engine is paired with the Hellcat eight-speed automatic transmission. The front and rear both get a stronger and more aggressive bumper with auxiliary LED bars. The suspension is upgraded with a six-inch lift and tuned for the best performance. The interior isn’t left out, and it gets beautiful custom leather with Hennessey and Maximus embroidered on the seats. To complete the look, they added 20-inch Hennessey wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Off-Road tires.

The company founder, John Hennessey, said, “We wanted to create the ultimate Jeep Gladiator. Maximus 1000 – the name says exactly what it is: Badasssery on 4-wheels.” Hennessey builds are not cheap, and the Maximus 1000 is no exception. The completed Gladiator build will cost around $200,000, but this includes the base vehicle and all the upgrades. Hennessey is taking orders, but hurry because they are only building 24 units. John Hennessey adds, “Our clients want exclusive, extreme vehicles that deliver a fun and exciting driving experience both on and off -road. Win the crowd and you’ll win your freedom was the advice that the elder gladiator gave to Russell Crow in the Gladiator movie. We could not agree more.” Production will begin in July taking about four months to complete. Sounds like the Hennessey Maximus 1000 Gladiator will be ready for your garage just in time for Christmas. It even comes with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.
