Dodge welcomes you to Muscleville. The Dodge Brand is launching a new marketing campaign called Muscleville. Launching this week, Bill Goldberg will be featured as the Mayor of Muscleville. Recently, we saw Goldberg as Santa getting his rockin’ sleigh, in the Dodge Holiday commercials. This campaign will feature four TV spots and digital/social content across it Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels. The first two commercials, “Welcome to Muscleville” and “Fast Lane” can be viewed on the Dodge YouTube channel.
The campaign helps commemorate the brand’s “Dodge Performance Days” sales event throughout the month of March. Steve Beahm, Head of Passenger Car Brand’s, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT- FCA North America says, “There’s no better time than Spring to kick off muscle car season. And what better way to celebrate our Dodge//SRT enthusiast than to create a town just for them. In fact, our fans had the opportunity to line up on Main Street to meet the ‘Mayor’ and participate in the production, making them honorary residents of ‘Muscleville,’ a Dodge owner’s paradise.” The brand transformed Taft, California, a small town in Kern County, California, into “Muscleville.” Who doesn’t want to live here?
Dodge is the American mainstream performance brand, with SRT as the trophy line, but together the two create a complete vision and voice. For over 100 years, the Dodge brand has carried on the spirit of brothers John and Horace Dodge, who founded the brand in 1914. The Dodge brand lineup for 2019 includes the Durango, Grand Caravan, Journey, Charger and Challenger. There’s something for everyone, at every price point.
