Before saying goodbye to the Aventador, Lamborghini debuts the SVJ 63 Roadster. The Aventador is one of the favorite supercars of the world and is getting a topless variation. The SVJ 63 means Lamborghini will be making 63 roadsters and reflects the year 1963, the automaker’s founding year.
Lamborghini did officially confirm that all 63 numbered examples allocated for sale are sold. The commemorative Lamborghini supercar is the most exclusive to date. The SVJ 63 features a special livery with a number 63 decal on its hood and doors. It will be available in eight unique “design expressions” colors and a choice of three Alcantara and carbon fiber-appointed interior colors: Grigio Octans (grey), Grigio Cronus (grey), and Arancio Dyrope (orange). The number 63 is also embossed between the seats with Q-Citura cross
Lamborghini created the iconic design with a carbon fiber upper, air vents, windshield rim, and wing mirrors (available in both matte or shiny finish). Other appearance details include the center-lock wheels, which Lamborghini calls “matte titanium.” Not only is the topless appearance distinguishing, but under the hood, the SVJ 63 features the SV 6.5L V12 engine. This engine is capable of producing 770 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. The SVJ 63 can reach 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph. This Lamborghini is fast.
The lucky 63 buyers will get delivery of their Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster, the final edition of the flagship, in 2020. Don’t be to dismal, Lamborghini has promised something dramatic (with 800 hp) to pave way into the future.
