The 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is expected to go into production form soon. Spy photographers caught it out testing under very light camouflage. The only aspect that seems different is an awkward line going from the rear quarter panel to the retractable wing. Expectations are that it will have the same engine and outputs as the coupe for the new Cabriolet. It should follow the Carrera S specs with 443 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque from its 3.0-liter flat-six. However, no figures have been released.
The Cabriolet has a vertical center brake light in the same place as the coupe. The quad exhaust is in the same location. The front and rear fascia have unfinished parts in the spy pictures. There is extensive black plastic surrounding the fascia areas. These will be minimized on the final production version. These pictures are pretty close to what is expected as the final design, which should arrive by the end of the second quarter 2019.
