2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder revealed ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. The Huracan Evo Spyder, is a new drop-top version of the Huracan Evo. Lamborghini released photos and details to the public before its international debut in Geneva. The 5.5-liter V10 has the same 640 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque as the coupe, but according to Lamborghini loses some speed on the 0-60 mph. The Spyder is heavier by 265 pounds, brining it to 3,400 pounds, causing the slightly slower run time. The coupe hits 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, and the Spyder does it in 3.1 seconds. The Huracan Evo Spyder hits top speeds of 202 miles per hour. The new model has more downforce and aerodynamic efficiency than any previous models.
The electrohydraulic top is activated by a switch on the central tunnel, taking 17 seconds to close completely. It can be operated at up to 31 miles per hour, nothing new there. Tow body-color fins rise up out of the folding roof’s casing as it retracts. It has the same rear window that powers down like the previous Huracan Spyder. The performance features match the standard Huracan Evo, mainly the predictive-logic vehicle dynamics control systems anticipating the drivers next move. It has larger air intakes, slotted spoiler for air flow and a new front splitter. It keeps the twin-exhaust protruding from the rear bumper.
The 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder has a base price of $287,400. The vehicle will start hitting dealerships this spring.
