Automakers are revealing all the Heavy Duty trucks for 2019-2020, and GMC is no exception. The 2020 GMC Sierra Heavy Duty follows with a teaser picture, showing a huge grille. GM said the release of their HD will be in the second half of 2019. The assumption is that the Sierra will be identical to the Silverado HD powertrain-wise. Information confirms that two engines will be available, the gasoline V8 with a six-speed transmission and the Duramax turbodiesel V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
More details should be available at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show in February, when the Silverado HD is revealed. It does appear if you are a fan of chrome, the 2020 GMC Sierra HD will deliver.
