The 2019 Ram 2500, 3500 HD get Lone Star trim package, but only in Texas. The Lone Star (like the Ram 1500) is a mid level trim similar to the Big Horn available for the Texans of the United States.
The Lone Star special edition includes chrome door handles, bumpers and grille surround. The badging decorates the exterior, making sure people know that it’s a Lone Star model. It’s equipped with a Standard Class V tow hitch, electronic trailer brake controller and power trailer mirrors. The interior has four options to choose from including: black and gray, black and brown, black and beige, and all-black with either beach or bucket front seats.
The Lone Star trim is available on most 2500 or 3500 HD’s including Regular, Crew and Mega Cabs in both standard and long beds. The 6.4-liter gas engine is standard, however the midrange Cummins diesel is an option on the 2500. The high-output Cummins diesel with 1,000 lb-ft of torque is an available option on the Ram 3500 HD model. Also, both four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive options are available.
The Lone Star Ram Heavy Duty model will be available in Texas this summer. Pricing for the 2500 starts at $39,340 plus destination fees. The 3500 HD starts $40,790 plus destination fees. To get the Lone Star special edition, the price will increase about $4,000.
