The automaker, Lexus, is producing 900 of the 2019 IS 300 F Sport Black Line editions. The Black Line package adds 18-inch, split-spoke wheels with the “black vapor chrome” finish with black side mirrors. The interior has upgraded black Nuluxe seats with red bolster accents and stitching. The stitching also appears on the center console, armrests, and red accent panels. The Black Line treatments have navigation and triple-beam LED headlights. The black wood-trimmed heated steering wheel is what Lexus says is, “distinctive shades of black that were created by a Japanese calligraphy shop dedicated to perfecting ink for more than 200 years.”
The Lexus Black Line Special Edition will have three exterior colors: ultra white, obsidian, and atomic silver. It will be available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive versions. The rear-wheel-drive have the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, plus an eight-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel-drive version are powered by the 3.5-liter V6 pumping out 260 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, plus a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Lexus Black Line Edition 2019 IS 300 F Sport will be priced at $45,825 in rear-wheel-drive. The AWD will cost a little more at $47,875. It will be available in dealerships next month. The 900 limited production units won’t last long for this dynamic sport sedan.
